    Yes, we have a large deep freezer in the house that you are welcome to use.
  • Is the garden fenced?
    No, the garden is not fenced, as is usual with Norwegian holiday homes. However, the terrace is fenced with two lockable wooden gates.
  • What additional costs do I have to pay?
    If you book our holiday home through AirBnB, you will pay the rent + final cleaning + AirBnB fees. However, this will all be explained transparently in your booking process at AirBnB. There are no additional costs. For Booking.com it is the same.
  • Where can I rent a fishing boat?

  • How far away is the nearest neighbor?
    The neighbors on the side are approx. 40m away. The neighbors to the fjord are about 80m away and can hardly be seen due to the vegetation. The neighborhood is very friendly and helpful and consists mainly of families.
  • When is the best time to catch fish in the fjord?
    The best time to fish is an hour before or after the tide changes. This means: Always be at the fishing spot at least one hour before low or high tide.
  • Are bed linen and towels provided?
    Yes, we provide towels and bed linen.
  • Can you see the Northern Lights from your holiday home?
    Yes, in winter, under favorable weather conditions (few clouds, complete darkness), there is a very good chance of seeing the Northern Lights. Appropriate apps tell you the probability of seeing the Northern Lights, such as the app "Aurora", which is available for free download from the App Store.

    There are two parking spaces available on the property, which you can use free of charge during your stay with us.

    Please dispose of your waste at the nearby waste point next to the Joker supermarket in Åfarnes. There the waste is separated into paper, glass, plastic, organic waste and residual waste. Here is the Google link to the waste site.
  • Is self-check-in possible?
    Yes, we have a key box so you can check in with us yourself.
  • Are Pets allowed?
    Pets are not allowed in our holiday home.
  • Is smoking allowed in the accommodation?
    No, smoking is not permitted in our accommodation. Please understand this.
